The article is devoted to the problem of using artificial neural networks as one of the methods of data mining (intellectual data analysis) for classifying the competencies of university students when determining the educational specialization. It describes the complexity of the process of selecting specialization and the associated negative consequences, as well as an approach to solving the given problem using software classification tools. As a basis for the implementation of the proposed tools, the student's information system is used on the website of the University of Tartus, Syria. The article presents data selection criteria to form the training sample, which includes the academic performance in some courses as input vectors. The values of the output vector depend on completed specialization and it get into the training set only if it is properly selected. On the basis of these data, the structure of a multilayer artificial neural network is formed and the learning algorithm is selected, the results of which are reflected on the university's website in the form of advice on the choice of future specialization, which has allowed increase the effectiveness of the educational process.

АнглийскийПеревести вGoogleBingThis article is devoted to the development of suhodolnyh pits in the permafrost zone. For the development of fields in the Arctic requires a large amount of sand for engineering training close to roads, well pads, sites for the installation of complex gas treatment, high pressure pump stations, the Central points of separation and other site projects. Development suhodolnyh quarries of sand in the Arctic requires further activities for the preparation of the sand to a condition suitable for construction. Range transport of sand from the quarry to the designed object will be considered acceptable when the object is within 20 km of the planned quarry, the transportation distance is more than 20 km puts an end to the possibility of further implementation of the project and directly affects the net present value of the project. • Experimental qualification for compressive properties of unidirectional carbon-fiber reinforced composite

Most important information about an environmental resistance (moisture, cyclic change of the temperature, ultraviolet radiation) of high strength composite material can be received at the compressive mechanical testing. The reinforcing fibers that are oriented along the specimens axis (or are oriented on the small angles relative to this axis) carry the main tencile loading. Conversely, at the compression the elastic and strength properties of the material, basically depend on the matrix properties. The specimens for mechanical testing are usually manufactured as relatively thin rectangular plates by winding or laying-up that corresponds to the ready composite parts. In order to eliminate buckling of the specimen at compressive test, its working length must be very shortened. So, this working part is unavalable for the extensometer instalaltion, and compressive strain of the specimen can be determined by the stroke of crosshead only. This stroke is a sum of very small contraction of the specimen and crosshead displacement due to elastic deformation of the testing machine. We determined the dependence of elastic deformation of the testing machine at the preliminary testing to exclude this deformation from the testing data. We present the features of the compressive testings and their numerical processing at the study of high strength GFRPs, and also the character of composite fracture studied by means of the scanning electron microscopy.
