  • Controlling the boundedly undefined nonlinear objects

An algorithm for the control laws synthesis for boundedly indeterminate nonlinear n-th order plants with a mathematical model in normal form and arbitrary relative order is proposed. Moreover, said plants may have an unstable state of equilibrium, and their output matrix may contain right eigenvalues. The proposed synthesis algorithm is based on the application of the combined control principle with respect to the n-th state variable derivative. And its sought for law of change is determined from the desired trajectory equation of the corresponding automatic control system by means of evaluating the state variables of its object.

  • Smart city technological base

This paper describes the smart city definitions and expresses a view that smart city infrastructure consists of digital technologies and information and communication technologies. We make the point that the terms Urban Digitality, Urban Computing and Urban Informatics are used to describe smart city’s underlying digital technologies in English language scientific literature. The three-step American smart city model is analyzed. The model supposes a city to collect information about itself using sensors and other devices on the first stage. On the second stage collected data is transferred by means of wired and wireless networks to be analyzed on the third stage for better understanding of the present situation and what may happen in the future. Having found that the digital technologies of internet of things, social networks and mobility correspond to the stage of «Collect», so as the technology of cloud computing is brought into correlation with the stage of «Communicate» and, finally, that the digital technologies of big data and analytics are compared to the stage of «Crunch», we reveal the substance of smart city technological base.

  • Smart city digital technologies

Smart cities development initiatives, which become the response on growing urbanization, rise the problem of smart city digital technologies study. Digital revolution grows stronger, so it makes possible to use digital information and communication technologies in city management and allows rise of life quality. The digital revolution modern stage is characterized by the technologies combination of the third digital platform which is briefly referred to as SMAC, on the first English letters of social networks, mobility, analytics and cloud computing. This paper describes IBM’s smart city model, which consists of three stages: instrumentation, interconnection and intelligence. Instrumentation means that the workings of the system are turned into data points and the system is made measurable. Interconnection means that different parts of a core system can interact with each other, turning data into information. Intelligence refers to the ability to use the created information in decision making processes. We declare that the third digital platform technologies having been correlated with the model stages could be considered as the digital technologies of a smart city.

  • Swarm algorithm for scheduling of multiprocessor systems

We consider the problem of drawing up the implementation plan of the complex programs in multiprocessor computer systems (MCS). MCS is composed of several processors working in parallel. On MCS is input multiple independent streams of applications (programs) to be distributed among the processors. The computing system may consist of identical or different from the performance of processors. Taken into account when switching between different classes of applications received by the processor. The solution is presented as a job application distribution planning problem for processors and determining a queue of requests for service processor. Optimization of planning in the case of multi-level stage is to minimize the execution time of all applications. • Zones (Regions) of the Contemporary World as a Topical Issue: The Overall Perspective

This work starts a series of the articles devoted to the analysis of the processes taking place in poorly structured and geopolitically unstable zones (regions) of the contemporary world. Considering the analysis of the specific situations as a special scientific procedure, the author looks at length at the instrumentation which is supposed to be used by a researcher of a relevant profile. • Model analysis of the social aspects of intrapersonal conflict

In the paper there are examined intrapersonal conflicts associated with the mandatory selection of one option from two, equal their relative attractiveness. To study the effect of social environment we combined two models. The first was the previously developed model based on the theory of Bayesian model intrapersonal conflict one subject. Second was the model the spread of the epidemic presented in the base package of the agent-based modeling AnyLogic. In the numerical experiments it is studied as a manifestation on the intrapersonal level, social aspects of the environment, and Vice versa, the impact of these conflicts on the society. Found that the level of this impact strongly depends on the social value of objects of choice. If this objects important only for the individual, the near social neighbours can only shift the final probability of selection and to reduce the resolution time of the problem. The opposite effect is small. If the conflict causing problem is socially significant both for the subject and its environment, the picture changes dramatically. An association of individuals with the same choice as the conflict and the formation of clusters of two types are started with the development of the conflict in the study community. There is growth of these clusters and their absorption of each other. It was studied several scenarios final solution to the problem, such as the transformation of intrapersonal conflict in intergroup one and confrontation of the formed sub-groups, or complete absorption of one type of cluster other with the winning one of the variant. The obtained results point to the need for the study of social conflicts to pay attention to intrapersonal and the possibility of escalating into intergroup.

Roof and gutters heating has the potential to avert the loss of life and vehicles damage due to falling icicles. The costly package of measures of manual cleaning of roofs, which often leads to unscheduled repairs of roof , gutters and facades of buildings is thus not needed. A competent choice of the way of heating is able to provide positive social and economic benefits for the city and must be done according to the availability of specific types of energy resources ... The article justifies the applicability of water heating system that runs in both automatic and manual control. Such systems allow the use of heat supplied by CHP local boiler or gas compact heater.

We consider an articulated reinforced beam from a bimodule material on an elastic base under the action of a concentrated force. Numerical investigation of the influence of the bimodule property of the beam material on the bending moment and deflection is given. The influence of the elastic bedding coefficient on the value of the maximum normal stress, the maximum bending moment and the maximum deflection is shown. Investigations were carried out for fibre-foam concrete beams, for which tensile modulus and compression moduli obtained experimentally are known.
