  • Object recognition system for sorting municipal solid waste

    Recently, the main principles in the field of municipal solid waste management are recycling and reuse of secondary resources. Information technologies are widely used in modern waste management technologies. Problematic is the issue of recognition of the sorting object on the waste conveyor. There are various robotic systems for automated separation of sorting objects. The article provides a description of the system in the process of "recognition - capture - movement" of a sorting object on a common conveyor. A group of sensors is used to identify objects on the conveyor, while simultaneously fixing the coordinates of each identified object on the surface of the conveyor belt. Information about the coordinates and properties of each identified object is transmitted over the communication line to the control panel by manipulators, which capture individual identified objects and mix them into special containers.

  • Overview of municipal solid waste sorting systems

    In recent years, municipal solid waste management in developed countries has been based on the principle of recycling and reusing secondary products. The overseas level of sorting and disposal of waste is higher and more detailed, it refers to a higher economic level, cultural level of quality of life, government investment, appropriate policies and the construction of related auxiliary facilities. This article discusses some of the systems and methods for sorting municipal solid waste in order to justify the need to develop a system for object recognition when sorting waste.

  • Development of a general scheme for the movement of solid municipal waste from the consumer to the finished final product

    This article discusses the general waste management system in Russia, which includes five main areas (landfills, waste sorting complexes, waste incineration complexes, waste processing complexes, waste composting plants). Two types of sorting of municipal solid waste are considered: manual and automatic. Also, a scheme was proposed for the movement of the main products of solid municipal waste from the consumer to the finished final product.

  • Energy-efficient method of use of the excess heat of solar collector

    "The paper proposes a method of use of the accumulated surplus of solar water heating installation, the major element of which is the solar collector for heating of greenhouses. The heat energy, which was preserved in the battery for the summer months, can be used for heating of greenhouses in the autumn and winter months. The proposed method will significantly increase the efficiency of the solar collector and reduce the term of recoupment. This development will be relevant for the individual dwelling houses, with garden plots sufficient to build greenhouses there. The use of ""Energy - Effective"" greenhouses combined with solar water heating unit, significantly reduces the cost of electricity and heating. The use of low-grade thermal energy from the sun and soil is the main direction of development of energy-saving technology of housing and communal services. "

  • Mathematical modeling methods for parameters optimization for resource efficient washing-squeezing machines

    This article proves that the parameter that determines the energy the washing process is G-factor. The authors propose a mathematical tool defining dependencies technical performance of G-factor. It is an indicator of the effectiveness of the optimization of technical solutions of embodiment washing-squeezing machines and the basis for the fundamental analysis of typical designs.

      Methods of mathematical (geometric) modelingare often used in the current research of multivariate processes and their optimization tasks combined with traditional mathematical methods of experiment planning. This simulation is carried out by methods of descriptive geometry, its practical valueis a graphical representation of the functional relationships of the quality from factors and parameters that defines a process with number of variables more than three. Definition’salgorithmsof the optimization based on the Radishchev drawingin the article are given to ensure the visibility of images and solve certain technical problems.The graphical model of the process optimization of joining parts of garments was constructed.

    The question of increase of efficiency of the cooling process in the compression refrigerating machines and household refrigerating appliances. Describes a new original method of cooling of the condenser vapour-compression refrigeration machines, which is due to wet the surface of the capacitor with its further blow. Shows the complexity of the theoretical analysis of the proposed method of cooling and substantiated the necessity of experimental studies of the process of cooling of the refrigerant in the capacitor.

  • Study of the dynamics of washing machines in the spin cycle

    The questions devoted to the study of influence of mass textile articles vibroaktivnosti drum type washing machine with a horizontal axis of rotation at a centrifugal spinning. Feature of research is accounting change in mass production during the spin cycle when calculating the amplitude of transverse vibrations, including during acceleration and passing the resonance zone. The object of investigation used a modern model of household washing machine. Initial operating parameters were varied, based on the actual values ​​for the machines of this type. In a paper on the study the graphs, the analysis of the data obtained. The results can be used to study the dynamics of washing machines to improve their vibration isolation systems.
