  • The influence of some water-repellent additives on the change in the strength of cement stone

  • The properties of the products of gravel crushing recycled concrete as inert aggregate concrete mixtures

    Study the properties of rubble, produced by crushing recycled concrete. Secondary crushing of concrete products in the mass contains 20% of the grains gravel fraction 20-40 mm and 40-50% of the fraction 5-20 mm. The resulting rubble is the brand for divisibility 300-600, and its abrasion is within the A2-A4. Both indices increase with increasing grain size. To assess the grain shape of rubble offered index φs, which is the ratio of grain surface rubble to the surface of the cube of equal volume.

  • Identification of the structural features of layered minerals by X-ray diffraction

    The paper is devoted to developing an approach to solving the problem of structure identification of layered minerals of the kaolinite group by the Rietveld method. The calculations of the intensity of the diffracted X-ray radiation are performed for the koalinit samples obtained from different fields. Qualitative agreement between calculated and experimental results has managed the solution of the identification problem for the kaolinite unit cell Glukhovtsy deposit. The obtained results indicate the possibility of identifying the features of the crystal structure of layered minerals by direct calculation of diffraction patterns.

      The analysis of the effectiveness of duration of electric vibration treatment of foam concrete mixture is carried out. The optimum fraction of filler for preparation of foam concrete mixture processed by variable electric field is defined. The influence of a type of cementitious matter by means of a comparison of domestic cement and Turkish (CEM I-42,5R) cement is analysed. It is established that at a short-term electric vibration treatment of foam concrete mixture there is a consolidation of the material of interporous partitions that leads to some increase in strength of foam concrete.

  • The deformability of concrete beams reinforced with GFRP and combined (hybrid) reinforcement

    In this article considered the questions related to how the deformability is influenced in concrete beams, in which steel reinforcement replaced with fiberglass GFRP or a combination (hybrid). The latter is very important, as the current standards do not account the increased in strength of composite reinforcement, whereas its elasticity modulus is lower than the elasticity modulus of steel reinforcement.

  • The influence of white soon and metakaolin on the compressive strength E-modulus and creep coefficient of harden cement paste

    Compressive strength of harden cement paste modified with white soot metakaolin and different superplasticizers ranged from 69 to 182% in comparison with non modified specimen. The elastic modulus ranged from 89 to 137% in comparison with non modified specimenand the measure of creep from 36 to 542%.

      In article are offered results of research of sinter ability clayey silica clay. It is shown that the ceramic shard based on the silica clay have a low average density, increased firing shrinkage, porosity and water absorption. Increasing the firing temperature to a large extent determines the increase in shrinkage and reduced water absorption. At least increase the density. The data presented in the paper can be a useful technology of brick factories, employees testing laboratories and design companies, geologists studying nonmetallic raw materials, as well as undergraduate and graduate students specializing in this field.

      The paper presents the results of a study of powdered ceramic materials based on silica clay the production of bricks method of compression molding. It is shown that the press powders based on silica clay pressed in a wide range of moisture content, the maximum compatibility in terms of the solid phase is achieved at a certain humidity in the range of 15–30 MPa compaction pressure (depending on the type of molding boxes and humidity), the density of compacts in terms of solid phase begins to exceed the average density of the material (density in the piece), for pressing molding powders with a moisture content below the optimum, almost regardless of the specific pressure extrusion, different-density compaction can reach 4–6%.

  • On the possibility of physical and chemical control of the self-stress kinetics of the expansive binders

    Domestic construction materials industry produces expansive binders providing the concrete self-stress up to2MPa. A hypothesis on the catalytic role of lime in the formation of the active ettringiteis introduced. On the base of the hypothesis a proposal of the self-stress kinetics optimization with sulfate-containing mineral supplements, neutralizing lime in the early stages of the cement stone structure formation is given.

      In article negative influence of polymeric construction materials on a human body and surrounding his environment is shown, and also results of earlier carried out tests are given. The construction material – fiberfoamconcrete, which proved as a material possessing low heat conductivity, at the expense of strong porous structure of mezhporovy partitions is revealed modern constructional and heatinsulating.
