    This article explores the application of Fitwel's green certification standard to office buildings where employees spend most of their lives. The importance of the conditions of the office building in which its employees are located in terms of the impact on health and productivity was emphasized. The essence and advantages of using the Fitwel standard are demonstrated.

    The article discusses the use of geographic information systems (GIS) when choosing a territory for the construction of social institutions. The main parameters for the selection of the territory are given. The influence of the foundation soils on construction, the level and rate of groundwater rise, environmental risk, land use and development rules (PZZ) and service radii of social institutions are considered.

    The article discusses the concept of green building, its basic principles, assessment methods. The technologies used in green building are presented. The technologies for collecting rainwater, using solar energy and improving energy efficiency through the use of recuperators, their types and principles of operation, applicable to homes for the disabled and the elderly are considered.

  • The study of the regulatory framework for the construction of houses for the disabled and the elderly in the Russian Federation

    The article discusses the regulatory framework for the construction of houses for the disabled and the elderly. The main types of documents that are the main component of the regulatory framework are given. Excerpts and the main provisions of the current regulations on the presentation of requirements for sites, space-planning decisions, engineering equipment and adaptation of the environment for the elderly and disabled are considered. The compliance of the requirements with modern standards is analyzed.
