  • Laboratory complex for processing of oily waste using microwave technology

The report examines the method of processing of oily waste in the power of the microwave radiation. The characteristics of the laboratory complex, its structural scheme and design features. The report includes explanatory drawings illustrating the structure and the temperature sensor based on a fiber-optic Bragg grating.

Keywords: microwave technology; processing; oil sludge; oily waste

  • Dielectric waveguide with periodic inhomogeneities as a method for measuring the characteristics of dielectrics

This article discusses various configurations of dielectric inhomogeneous waveguides in the microwave range, discusses the results of computer electrodynamic modeling of the proposed configurations of structures with periodic inhomogeneities. During the simulation, the geometric and electrophysical parameters of the periodic structure were varied in order to identify their influence on the characteristics of the proposed sensor to determine the properties of liquid dielectric media.

Keywords: dielectric waveguide, Bragg reflection, dielectric constant, reflection coefficient

  • Mathematical modeling of controllable frequency-selective surfaces

The article discusses the relevance of the research of new coatings to control their properties. At the beginning of this article provides an overview of existing methods of creating frequency-selective surfaces. Further considered controlled by a frequency-selective surface. Also refers to the design created surfaces. At the end of the article is an analysis of the results on the study of controlled frequency-selective surfaces, comparisons with previous results.

Keywords: Control, frequency-selective surface, microwave, radio-absorbing material

  • Analysis of the characteristics of a controlled frequency-selective surface in the microwave range

The article examines the relevance of the study of new coatings, with the possibility of controlling their characteristics. At the beginning of the article, we review the available methods for creating frequency-selective surfaces. Next, the created controlled frequency-selective surfaces are considered. The same is said about the construction of the created surfaces. At the end of the article, an analysis is made of the results obtained on the study of controlled frequency-selective surfaces, a comparison with previously obtained results.

Keywords: control, frequency-selective surface, microwave, radio-absorbing material
