  • The use of waste wool and feathers as sorbents of oil and oil products

"Effective and affordable sorbents produced from natural organic raw materials and waste products of agricultural and livestock origin, because these sorbents are part of existing ecosystems and, therefore, best meet environmental requirements, in order to ensure the rational nature management and preservation of consumer properties of water resources. For the solution of actual problems, such as the removal of oil and oil products from water surface, as sorbents was investigated by the waste processing of leather and agricultural industries: wool (sheep and goat) and feather (chicken and waterfowl). It is established that application of organic and mineral acids at certain concentrations , for treatment of wastes from the processing of wool allows to obtain sorbents directional spectrum for removal of oil products (such as diesel gas oil and engine oil) and oil from water. The modifiers of wool and feathers obtained after the chemical treatment, was used to study the sorption of oil and oil products from water surface. It was determined by sorption characteristics of the modified sorbents, such as oil capacity and moisture absorption. The kinetics of sorption–desorption of oil, which showed that the greatest degree of absorption is observed for the first 10-15 minutes. It is found that wastes from goat and sheep wool have a 90% holding capacity that persists in time. It was revealed the effect of temperature on oil absorption capacity of the sorbent and the calculation of heat of adsorption. The temperature increase leads to a reduction of the capacity of emulsified oil, reducing the degree of purification by 15-30%."

  • Visualization of breakings of geodetic domes under blast loads

In design and manufacture recently interest to a solving of problems of fluid-structure interaction  is constantly incremented. MSC.Dytran has opportunities of calculation of fluid-structure interaction. MSC.Dytran has found application in different fields for example in general safety analysis. In this article algorithms of fluid structure interaction , used in MSC.Dytran, are described. Analysis of one-contour geodetic domes under blast loads are described.

  • Electro-activation efficiency of foam concrete mixtures

Analysis of the effectiveness of the electrophysical activation of foam concrete mixtures was completed. The raw materials and experimental technique are described. Results of estimation of the effectiveness and impact of alternating electric field on the foam concrete mixes was presented. As object of research was made the impact of factors such as the grading of the aggregate and the tension created by the electric field on the physico-mechanical properties of foam concrete made of electroactivated mixtures. Conclusions are made on the basis of the obtained experimental dependencies.

  • Optimization of factors affecting the efficiency of processing of foam concrete mixes by variable electric field.

The optimization of the factors affecting the efficiency of Electro-activation of foam concrete mixes is carried out. For this purpose was applied mathematical planning experiment. As varied factors adopted grain size of sand grains, the value of the applied voltage and the duration of treatment. The mathematical models for strength, high density and structural quality are obtained.

  • Increase of power efficiency of protecting designs - a way of increase of efficiency of operation of buildings and constructions

The role of technical inspection as source of definition of an actual state of protecting designs is considered. Not destroying methods of definition of durability and thermal properties of materials of external walls are resulted. The thermographic method of not destroying control is considered, the list of thermal characteristics which can be defined with its use is presented. Modern requirements to thermal characteristics of external walls are presented and the materials most often meeting in protecting designs are considered. It is considered as a possible variant of increase of thermal properties of protecting designs - the device of hinged ventilated facades. The scheme of carrying out of a damage control, a substantiation of economic efficiency of the device of hinged ventilated facades and other technical advantages concerning other ways of warming of facades is presented.

Keywords: Technical inspection, thermographic quality monitoring, thermal characteristics of protecting designs, hinged ventilated facade

  • Software for stereovisualization of FEM simulating results

The presented work extends the state-of-art of visualization construction simulations in three dimensions (3D). Classical computer graphics methods can be used to instrument construction models to automatically generate dynamic visualizations of any construction models. The visualization problem of FEM analysis is considered. A description is presented of programs of convertation and visualization of results of finite element method analysis of geodesic domes.

  • Concrete on binding and small sand

The influence of fine-dispersed mineral adds on the properties of cement stone and concrete has been investigated. The possibility of production of necessary strength concrete with small sand without increasing of standard expenditure of cement has been designed.

The analysis of the effectiveness of duration of electric vibration treatment of foam concrete mixture is carried out. The optimum fraction of filler for preparation of foam concrete mixture processed by variable electric field is defined. The influence of a type of cementitious matter by means of a comparison of domestic cement and Turkish (CEM I-42,5R) cement is analysed. It is established that at a short-term electric vibration treatment of foam concrete mixture there is a consolidation of the material of interporous partitions that leads to some increase in strength of foam concrete.

  • All-weather repair of coverings of highways with use of the modified cold asfaltobetonny mixes

Cold asfaltobetonny mixes which unlike standard mixes prepare without drying and heating of a mineral component are developed. Advantages of these mixes are that they is better, than standard mixes cooperate with a damp repaired covering and in the course of warehousing don't demand performance of actions for prevention of caking of a mix. Mixes are intended for timely localization of the centers of the destruction appearing on pavings in the early spring and autumn.

  • Some physico-chemical methods impact on the structure and properties of foam concrete

The paper is devoted to the generalized analysis of the research on the influence of the electric field and organic gelling additives on the properties of foam concrete. It is shown that the transmission of the electric field close to the resonance frequency oscillations of the particles in the binder or the introduction of slip mass gelling components lead to a significant increase in the physical and mechanical characteristics of the foam.
