  • Application of the optical heterodyning method for receiving L-band signals

    In this paper, we consider the application of the optical heterodyning method for signal processing of a receiving device. The simulation of the developed scheme was carried out in the environment of OptiSystem. Also presented are the results of modeling, explaining the principle of operation of this scheme.

  • Transformation of phase-shifted signals by filters of selective suppression of narrow-band interference and masking pseudo-random signals of the Lorentz system

    Modeling and investigation of filters of selective rejection of narrow-band noise with a priori unknown frequency and selective suppression of multidimensional pseudorandom signals of discrete-nonlinear Lorentz system are carried out. The transformation of signal with phase manipulation in the digital selective nonlinear reject filter are studied. The digital functional rejection filters for selective signal rejection by form, synthesized in according to the principle of two-channel invariance theory, in information transmission systems with PSK-signals for suppressing additive harmonic signals of narrowband interference and masking pseudo-random signals of discrete nonlinear Lorentz systems is recommended. Recommendations on the use of digital non-linear rejection filters using mathematical programs are developed and justified.

  • Model of conveyor method for processing substances by microwave heating

    In this article, we consider a method for implementing a conveyor method for processing substances using microwave radiation and the idea of using the principle of a focused aperture in the organization of adaptive control of processing processes.   • Strategy for the development of the regional economy through clustered education

    The material is based on the results of surveys of business activity of Russian enterprises and organizations in the Chelyabinsk region, including: large and medium-sized industrial enterprises; construction firms; organizations of retail trade, services, tourism and catering. The obtained conclusions as a result of the conducted researches are based on the information of the official bodies of the Chelyabinsk region, Rosstat management and reports of enterprises. As a result, the conclusion was made about the need to improve the tourism infrastructure, the widespread introduction of modern technologies into the tourism business, with the creation of a single tourist cluster in the Chelyabinsk region with an orientation to cross-sectoral cooperation. The creation of a regional tourist cluster contributes to the most effective use of the integration process in the allocation of investment resources in the region.

  • Fuzzy control of a robotic sprinkler type machine "Fregat"

    The article identifies tasks that can be solved by robots for agricultural purposes. Held the problem statement for robotics irrigation machines (DM) type "Frigate" due to the fuzzy control of technological processes of watering, allowing you to control the irrigation rate during the entire irrigation season regardless of the various uncertain factors that affect the quality of irrigation. Proposed to be used by DM crane-preselection analog operation, working by electricity, the fuzzy will be managed by improved control system, as well as to enter into the system management subsystem diagnostics, including sensors for measuring soil moisture and slope of DM in different parts of the field. The mathematical model of fuzzy control irrigation machine due to the software regulation of water flow depending on the topography of the field, the speed of movement of the machine across the field and soil moisture to reduce water consumption and improve the efficiency of DM. As the fuzzy logic algorithm the proposed algorithm of Mamdani, which is easily implemented in MATLAB based on the knowledge and experience of experts, and simulation. Formalization of the description of the performance of the machine carried out with the help of linguistic variables, given the type and description of elements of term-sets of these variables. The proposed mathematical model can be used when designing control systems for other robotic farm machinery.

  • Organization of quarry design

    The process of designing open-cast mining, in particular a quarry, is justification of technical solutions, economic efficiency, environmental and industrial safety of the construction of a new or reconstruction of the old quarry, identification of its key parameters characterizing the quarry as an industrial facility. The article raises the question of providing the enterprises of the oil and gas industry with construction materials, and, in particular, the project side of the main stages is being studied. So, in the article the features of engineering surveys, geological exploration and design works are studied in detail. The section ""Surveys"" describes the composition of the full complex of engineering surveys, the necessary grounds for their performing, as well as the requirements for their implementation. In the ""Design"" section, the composition of project documentation for the quarry development is studied in detail. The strategic tasks, which are solved by the project of common mineral resources deposits open development, are presented. The article reveals the main design (technical) solutions that should be adopted at various stages of the project documentation development. Special attention is paid to the disturbed lands reclamation section. The project stages are also described. In the section ""Obtaining the right to use a subsoil plot for the purpose of commonly used minerals mining "", the process of licensing of quarries and possible schemes for registration of rights is described. The conclusion is made about the need for further development and modernization of normative acts regulating relations for the preparation of project documentation.

  • Microprocessor system for studying the distribution of breakdown voltage values of the ignition system

    The authors developed an algorithm, a microprocessor system for studying the distribution of values ​​of breakdown voltages in the gap of the spark plug. The microprocessor system includes capacitive voltage dividers and a device for processing and outputting information. The device for processing and outputting information consists of the following main blocks: peak detector, microcontroller and LCD indicator. The field studies of the microprocessor system were carried out at idle speed with the minimum engine speed of the crankshaft. A histogram of the distribution of the values ​​of the breakdown voltage in the interelectrode gap of the spark plug is obtained. The application of this system not only in the laboratory environment, but also on the car can provide valuable information about malfunctions in the ignition system and assess the dependence of the intercycle non-identity of the engine working process on the variations of the breakdown voltage

  • Development of organizational and technical security for customs officials in the inspection of sea containers

    The relevance of the study is due to the risk of poisoning officials of customs authorities and other types of state control, inspecting sea containers at customs checkpoints. Based on the analysis of international experience in ensuring safety when working with sea containers, the development of organizational and technical principles for the prevention of poisoning during the customs inspection was carried out.   • Modeling housing ball joint passenger car

    The compare the durability of the existing ball bearings (SHO) with the polymer homogeneous element with the durability of the modified supports, a cell model with the averaged placement of the modifier in SHO substrate and a model for bringing the multilayer sho body to the equivalent single-layer one are constructed; calculations of contact pressure, contact deformations and stresses are performed. The calculation takes into account the rheological and physico-chemical properties of the components of SHO substrate and modifier, the influence of the environment. As a result of calculations, it was found that at all points of the contour the material experiences a biaxial plane two-dimensional stress state, called pure shear with the presence of shear stresses. The most intense point of danger is the point lying in the center of the platform of contact of details.

  • Research images of printed characters of different fonts in order to identify the signs necessary and sufficient for the recognition of signs by a computer

    Up to now, the problem of recognizing printed characters of different fonts with high speed and reliability is not solved. The team of authors carried out research of images of printed characters of different fonts for the purpose of revealing the signs necessary and sufficient for recognition of signs by a computer. These features were a certain combination of directions, formed by elements of the contours of signs. According to the developed program for the computer, the image of each printed character stored in the computer's memory device was scaled up, uncharacteristic signs of signs, certain defects were eliminated and the contour of the sign was highlighted. The contour was represented in the form of a sequence of definite directions formed by its elements. All printed characters of the Russian alphabet of different fonts were recognized by a certain technique, despite the different types of printed fonts, for certain possible defects.

  • Mathematical modeling of the magnetic field distribution in the vicinity of the erythrocyte

    Erythrocyte, when moving through a narrow capillary, stretches out and rolls like a tractor's caterpillar. Charges located on the surface of the erythrocyte, move together with the membrane and generate a magnetic field in the vicinity of the erythrocyte membrane, which can affect both elements of blood flow outside the erythrocyte, and its contents, in particular, the iron atoms that make up the hemoglobin. A three-dimensional model of the erythrocyte is constructed. The shape of the erythrocyte is approximated by a truncated cylinder of radius r with generators L1 and L2. It is assumed that all charges on the surface of the erythrocyte are the same and evenly distributed over the surface of the erythrocyte. Charges move along with the membrane along closed curves (trapezoids). Moving charge creates a magnetic field, the strength of which depends on the magnitude and speed of the charge. On the erythrocyte membrane there are several charges and each of them at some selected point creates a magnetic field. The total strength of the magnetic field is defined as the vector sum of the strains created by each of the charges. The following parameter values ​​were used in the calculations. The charge of the erythrocyte is 20 million elementary charges. The number of charges on the erythrocyte membrane is 38594. The rotation frequency of the erythrocyte membrane is 20 revolutions per second. The erythrocyte radius is 2 μm. The erythrocyte volume is 94 μm3. The erythrocyte surface area is 135 μm2, the lengths of the truncated cylinder forming are 3.4 μm and 11.5 μm. The erythrocyte speed is 100 μm / sec. The step along the space is 0.1 μm. The performed calculations of the magnetic field strength H have shown that the rotation of the erythrocyte membrane with the charges placed on it leads to a significant redistribution of the magnetic field in the vicinity of the erythrocyte. And with an increase in the frequency of rotation of the erythrocyte membrane, the heterogeneity of H increases significantly and can lead to a change in hemodynamics in the microcirculation system.

    In this paper, we consider the task of constructing a work plan in the form of a chain of control actions that change the system, and methods for solving it. The problem of finding the optimal path on the situational network is constructed with a mathematical description of the initial conditions and the requirements for the result.   • Application of methods of data mining in the development of the system of classification of students' competencies for the university web-site

    The article is devoted to the problem of using artificial neural networks as one of the methods of data mining (intellectual data analysis) for classifying the competencies of university students when determining the educational specialization. It describes the complexity of the process of selecting specialization and the associated negative consequences, as well as an approach to solving the given problem using software classification tools. As a basis for the implementation of the proposed tools, the student's information system is used on the website of the University of Tartus, Syria. The article presents data selection criteria to form the training sample, which includes the academic performance in some courses as input vectors. The values of the output vector depend on completed specialization and it get into the training set only if it is properly selected. On the basis of these data, the structure of a multilayer artificial neural network is formed and the learning algorithm is selected, the results of which are reflected on the university's website in the form of advice on the choice of future specialization, which has allowed increase the effectiveness of the educational process.

  • Investigation of the distribution of the breakdown voltage values of the ignition system at idle

    The authors carried out in-situ studies of the distribution of the breakdown voltage values ​​of the F8CV engine of the Daewoo Matiz engine with the engine warmed up and idling at the minimum crankshaft speed. A histogram of the distribution of the values ​​of the breakdown voltage in the interelectrode gap of the spark plug is obtained for these operating modes of the internal combustion engine. It was revealed that 50-63% of all values ​​of the breakdown voltage fall within the range 10.0-10.9 kV. When the engine warms up, 36% of all breakdown voltage values ​​are 10 kV. The remaining 8 and 9 kV account for 50% of the values. The maximum variance of the cyclic values ​​of the breakdown voltage is 20-40% with an average breakdown voltage of 10 kV.

  • Theoretical foundations of technology for obtaining modified wood

    The article considers theoretical bases of technological process for modified wood production for sleepers manufacture. Currently, sleepers are made mainly of natural softwoods, the stock of which is severely limited. In addition, sleepers made of natural wood have short wear-life. In this connection, there is a need to create a new high-tech resource-saving production of railway sleepers from modified wood by impregnating it with antiseptic and stabilizer compounds and carrying out thermal and mechanical modification of wood. For this purpose, a systematic analysis of physical phenomena underlying the technological operations has been performed and on the basis of which the curves for workpiece heating along cross-section in an oily liquid based on similarity criteria has been theoretically calculated, and on the basis of the physical phenomena of heat and mass transfer the duration of workpieces drying has been calculated. Methods of impregnation, loading and depressurization during pressing have been got. Based on system analysis of physical phenomena and performed calculations, structure and regimes of technological process for modified wood manufacturing have been developed.

    The paper presents an analysis of the processes of formation and processing of vegetable waste. An assessment is given to the existing ways of processing woodworking wastes and their inefficiency is justified. A new kind of resource and energy-saving grinding set of disk mills is proposed. On the basis of the analysis of the results of experimental research, the effectiveness of the use of the proposed method for the production of wood fiber is substantiated.

  • Modifications of the tournament selection Investigation in the inhomogeneous minimax problem solution by using modified Goldberg model

    In this paper was discuss, for the first time in detail, many ways of forming a new generation of tournament selection using a modified Goldberg model with the most common crossover and the original mutation. A computational experiment was carried out, which revealed the dominant advantage of using the "left individual and mutation" strategy for solving the heterogeneous minimax problem. It has been experimentally established that an increase in the number of individuals and repetitions leads to an increase in the time to obtain a solution to the inhomogeneous minimax problem when using any strategy, but at the same time to improve the accuracy of the solution.

  • Investigation of the frequency of wave oscillations in a liquid layer on the porous foundation

    In work is considered numerical solution of a task about distribution superficial waves in a liquid layer on the porous basis. Expressions for the decrement of attenuation and frequency of fluctuations of a wave are written. Dependences of frequency of fluctuations of a wave on dimensionless sizes are shown. Various special cases are considered. The dispersive equation for the infinite thickness of a layer of the porous environment is written.

  • On the possibility of creating universal forestry equipment for the regions of the Northern economic area

    The studies are devoted to a comparative assessment of the operational characteristics of individual trees in the regions of the Northern economic area of the Russian Federation (NEA). On the basis of the estimation, the weighted average structure of the stand is obtained in terms of thickness for NEA. This made it possible to draw a conclusion about the possibility of creating a forest machine with parameters that allow it to be used effectively in all regions of the NEA.
