  • The use of innovative approaches and technologies in the organization of the physical workshop of the Don State Technical University

General educational programs of bachelor's and master's degrees require significant changes in connection with the introduction of new Federal state standards for higher education. The development of the basic educational programs of higher education in the framework of the competence approach requires the development of various innovative methods and technologies for assessing the competencies and organization of students ' activities in a certain way. To check the level of formation of General and professional competencies required competence-oriented tasks. Such a task should contain a clearly formulated goal, an incentive to perform, the source is necessary to perform the task information, a form for structured records and a tool to verify the reliability of the result. Within the framework of the competence approach it is required that the formation of students ' skills takes place in conditions as close as possible to the real professional activity, one of the varieties of which is the project activity. The project method of formation and development of competencies is considered to be one of the most effective due to its diversity. Laboratory practice in physics is such a type of activity of students that meets the above requirements, since each laboratory work is a competence-oriented task, and the implementation of the educational mini-project to determine some physical quantities and constants, identify physical patterns and check the basic laws of physics. The authors provide systematic information about the workshop of the Department of Physics of DSTU as a high-tech science-intensive complex, equipped with modern multifunctional equipment of PHYWE, on the basis of which students master information and communication technologies. Measurements are usually performed using software that enables multi-level execution of the work. The first level is aimed at students just starting to master such equipment; tasks of the second level are intended for students who already have some skills of working with installations and use of the software, that is mastered software of the solution of problems by means of various options. Students are invited to perform tasks at both levels, which actually correspond to different levels of development of educational programs. The article is published in the framework of the forum "Pobednyj maj 1945".
