The article deals with the actual problem of minimizing the negative impact on the environment of the construction process. The concept of sustainability in the construction industry is defined. The main factors contributing to the formation of sustainability in the construction industry are identified. Practical recommendations for solving environmental problems in the construction industry have been developed.
