  • Advantages and disadvantages of using personal mobile devices in financial institutions

This article discusses information system vulnerabilities associated with the use of personal mobile devices in financial services companies. The recommendations of this study will help to understand the importance of formulating an information security policy in this situation. The use of personal devices by employees has become commonplace in the workplace due to the increased reliance of business processes on Internet-based services and advances in technology. The organization benefits from the fact that employees buy, use their own devices, thus, the organization reduces the cost of providing employees with computer equipment and software for workplaces. However, a company can suffer huge losses if the use and connection of personal devices to the company's information technology infrastructure is not regulated and controlled. Hacking personal devices by intruders allows you to gain unauthorized access to the assets of information systems. Financial institutions handle highly sensitive information, which makes them more vulnerable when using personal devices. A qualitative research method was conducted with specially selected participants working in the information security departments of financial institutions. The study revealed the lack of an information security policy regarding personal devices and the use of an unlimited number of such devices by employees.

  • Analysis of methods for determining the center of gravity of an aircraft during various flight modes

Methods for determining the position of the center of gravity and the static stability margin of an aircraft in flight are considered. Based on the analysis of the motion of an aircraft as a rigid body, possible methods for determining the position of the center of gravity are determined and their errors are calculated. Comparison of the errors of various methods made it possible to conclude that it is expedient to use a method based on the use of information on the fuel reserve.

Keywords: center of gravity, moments of inertia of the aircraft, free vibrations, fuel consumption

  • The use of GIS to optimize the sewage system of critical sections of the city of Volgograd

The main content of the diversification of production as the activity of business entities is considered. manifested in the purchase of existing enterprises, organizations of new enterprises, this article proposes a method of using GIS to optimize the sewage system of critical areas. The nearby territory of the Volgograd Arena stadium was chosen as the site of work.

  • Methodology for automating work on the project organization of construction with the receipt of the calendar plan and schedule of financing

This article proposes a way to automate work on the development of the construction schedule (CP) based on BIM-model. As an example we used the project of an oil well pad developed by VolgaTEKengineering LLC in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug in 2019.

  • Recycling of industrial waste

The recycling of industrial waste has always been relevant. In the modern world with the development of technology and the construction industry, it is necessary to find new opportunities for the disposal of industrial waste. One of the disposal options is to obtain synthetic anhydrite. Features of production and the finished product of processing make it difficult to use a binder for housing and civil construction. The study of the process of hardening of anhydrite binder and the properties of the resulting stone allows it to be used in different technologies for the manufacture of various building structures based on this binder.

Keywords: gypsum, anhydrite, synthetic anhydrite, industrial waste.

  • Dependence of drying speed of grain on distribution and air parameters in microwave-convective zone

Energy costs for grain drying are about 30% of the total energy consumption for grain produc-tion. Reducing the energy consumption of drying is possible due to the use of a microwave field. In this case, it is necessary to develop a design of a convection drying zone with a microwave field which will provide uniform drying of the grain throughout the volume. For this purpose, it is advis-able to carry out the simulation of the process. The developed computer model of heat and moisture exchange in the grain layer allows to model one under varying parameters of the grain layer and the drying agent. A computer model implements a stepwise calculation method. According to this method, the grain layer is represented as a series of computer models of the elementary layer. The grain layer is divided into three sections. The specific power of the microwave field is set to con-stant throughout each part. In addition, the model takes into account the features of changing in the specific power of the microwave field in the drying zone from the moisture content of the grain and the distance from the magnetron. The air flow in the microwave convection zone can has an im-portant value for the energy intensity of the process. The paper presents the results of modeling grain drying with two variants of air distribution in the microwave convection zone. Graphs of changes in grain moisture in each of the sections of the layer are given. It is shown that when the air moves from the magnetron, the time and the non-uniformity of drying decrease.

  • Production of nanosized copper powders from electrolytes with water soluable polymer

The effect of two surface-active substances (SAS) - polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and polyacrilamide (PAA) on formation kinetics of anodic synthesized electrolytes for copper powders production was reviewed, as well as product properties. It was found that the copper powder properties defined by polymer film of PVP and PAA formed on cathode surface. Nanosized particles percentage increasing by dints of copper ions direct discharge from ammonia complex ions provided by polymer film. In the electrolyte containing PAA is possible to obtain copper powder with nanosized (less 100 nm) particles content of 50,2%, average size in nanosized range is 43nm with needle-dendrite particle shape
