  • Integrated application of methods for calculating the stability of landslide slopes

In the construction sector, the reform of design and survey work allows us to take a fresh look at the state of engineering and geological research. The use of software systems provides an opportunity to automate this process during construction, reconstruction of buildings and structures in order to avoid the formation of landslide processes and reduce man-made risks. Limit equilibrium methods are used to determine the stability of a slope or an underground structure. Therefore, the purpose of the study in the article was to conduct engineering and geological surveys using various methods and then calculate the stability of landslide slopes. The sliding surfaces with the lowest coefficients of stability margin were selected by the optimization method for the calculated slopes.

  • Feasibility study of the use of various fillers in the composition of gypsum compositions

Products made of gypsum binders have heat and sound insulation properties, fire resistance, high technical, economic and environmental indicators, which are used in construction in the construction of internal walls and partitions, the total area of which, as a rule, is several times larger than the area of external walls. By reducing the density of gypsum products due to the introduction of light aggregates, it is possible to reduce the mass of walls, lighten the building, reduce the load on foundations and reduce the cost of construction, while improving thermal protection. However, traditional lightweight fillers increase the water demand of the mixture and reduce the strength of the material. Therefore, in the article, the purpose of the study was to determine the optimal composition of gypsum compositions with various types of filler to obtain the best set of properties of the obtained samples.

  • Applied aspects of the application of a computational complex for modeling a multi-void monolithic overlap

An overview of the rationale for the use of lightweight multi-hollow floor slabs is given. Technological and design features of multi-hollow floor slabs are considered. The possibilities of rational use and labor intensity of lightweight hollow floor slabs are presented. On the basis of existing technologies, calculation methods for lightweight hollow slabs and current norms, the calculation of monolithic slabs in the Lira software package was carried out. The work of floor slabs with spans equal in two directions is considered. It was found that regardless of the span of the floor slab, the effect of reducing its own weight exceeds the effect of reducing the cruelty of the section. The total deflection from the floor slab's own weight and payload on it for hollow slabs is lower than for solid slabs of the same span. The conducted numerical experiment allows us to establish the limits of the effectiveness of the use of lightweight multi-hollow monolithic floor slabs, upon reaching which the use turns out to be significantly more profitable than the use of traditional girderless floors.

  • Technical and economic comparison of the effectiveness of the use of fiber-reinforced concrete based on fibers of various origins

The article investigates the physical and mechanical properties of fine-grained fiber-reinforced concrete with metal, polypropylene and polyamide fibers, using Portland cement, hyperplasticizer. Comparison of strength characteristics of fiber-reinforced concrete made using metal fiber, polypropylene and polyamide fibers is carried out. A technical and economic comparison of the efficiency of using fibers of various origins has been made. According to the cost calculations, the use of polyamide fibers is cost-effective, since the cost of materials is lower than the cost of fiber-reinforced concrete materials based on polypropylene fibers of this composition.
