The article presents a study of chronic phytotoxicity in the area of influence of three small boiler houses, 2 of them run on coal, one on fuel oil. As a result of the research, it was revealed that both selected crops have growth inhibition. At the same time, oats show greater resistance to contamination than clover. At the same time, the root system is less susceptible to the inhibitory effect. The greatest negative impact is observed in the area of the boiler house running on fuel oil.

The article provides a diagram of the possible flooding zone for the area adjacent to the bridge crossing over the Bira River. The calculations were performed on the basis of topographic survey data of the research area in the specialized program "Morphostvor 1". Based on the constructed morph, a flood zone was determined at the Estimated 1% high water level, which was 55.05 meters in the 1977 Baltic Elevation System. Based on the data obtained, flooding of the right-bank floodplain of the river was noted. Bira, but the flooding zone does not reach directly to the territory of the village. The constructed flood zone is schematic in nature and is intended for visualization of the hydrological situation in the studied area, this flood zone cannot be used for design decisions.

The article presents a comparative characteristic of the cities of Izhevsk and Khabarovsk according to different criteria, an assessment of atmospheric air quality according to the atmospheric pollution index (ISA) and its dynamics, and an improved atmospheric dispersion index (UMP) is calculated. According to most indicators, the cities are very similar and comparable, with the exception of emissions from stationary sources, which are 3-4 times higher in Khabarovsk. The UMP of the city of Izhevsk corresponds to a zone with favorable conditions for the dispersion of impurities, however, the indicators are close to the boundary of this criterion (UMP ≥ 3.5), in the city of Khabarovsk favorable conditions for the dispersion of impurities. This explains why, with emissions many times higher, the emissions in both cities are at comparable levels.
