  • On the problem of the use of jet grouting technology in the construction of deep underground facilities

    Jet grouting technology is gaining popularity in practice. Until recently, the main area of application was considered strengthening the bases and foundations, as well as strengthening the walls of trenches in the construction of underground parts of buildings. At the same time there are examples of the use of technology inkjet technology for advanced fixing of deep underground facilities, as well as the mouths of vertical shafts. With the help of this technology is arranged anticipatory lining, which ensures the stability of the construction of the walls and reduce the inflow of groundwater during construction. This greatly reduces the complexity and duration of construction, increased safety. For a broader introduction of jet grouting technology in the construction of deep underground facilities must be a comprehensive study of patterns of interaction with the surrounding structures grouting array of temporary and permanent support of the barrel at various stages of penetration with the influence of the construction technology, heterogeneity of rocks and other factors.   • Vector-scalar characteristics of structural noise in building constructions

    In the various methods of non-destructive testing, which working with the deformation fields, diagnostic accuracy is largely dependent on the intensity of structural noise caused by small-scale irregularities of building structures. In this paper we investigate the effectiveness of using a vector-scalar receiving systems for diagnostics of vibration and defectoscopy of building structures. Comparative analysis of the fluctuations of the scalar and energy flux components of the structural noise acoustic field was conducted using computer simulation. Suppression of this noise contributes to a more precise localization of defects in constructions. The study was conducted in view of the fact that the component of the stream of the acoustic field, for which the intensity of the structural noise is minimal, is measured indirectly, using two sensors: scalar and vector. It is shown that the use of energy flux component can increase the detection efficiency.

  • Appling of waveguide diaphragms with elaborate shape in compact and narrow-band waveguide filters

    The problem of developing a compact and narrow-band waveguide filters in the rectangular waveguides with two centrally symmetric L-crests is solved. The aim of this article is the experimental verification of the results of computer simulation of the properties of thin metal diaphragms with a elaborate aperture. The experimental results confirm the effectiveness of the developed theoretical algorithms and make possible to use proposed thin metal diaphragms as basic elements in design of compact waveguide band-pass and band-locking filters.

  • Determination of the expected profitability level of construction products with the use of probabilistic estimates

    An approach is proposed to determine the expected profitability level of production in making strategic decisions on stabilization and development of construction production at the enterprise. The prediction of achieving the profitability level (profit rate) at realization of new enterprise products is made using probabilistic methods. It is assumed that the actual profit rate is a random variable which is approximated by the standard β distribution, ie, the distribution of mathematical statistics for random variables limited on both sides by the maximum and minimum values of production. In the calculations are taken optimistic and pessimistic estimates of the rates of profit from the sale of construction products. Using the formula for calculating the mathematical expectation of the random variable that is characterized by the β distribution, we performed the forecast of profitability for the planned construction products that are new for the enterprise - three types of cottages with different technical parameters and comfort. The experts (specialists of construction organizations involved in manufacturing similar products) gave optimistic and pessimistic estimates of the expected rate of profit from the sale of cottages. The resulting expected profit rate was compared with the industry average territorial regulations and maximum value of risk assessment of not receiving the expected profit (a coefficient of variation). The calculated values allowed to make positive decisions on the construction and implementation of the selected types of cottages.

  • Application of ultra-wideband signals with linear frequency modulation in the behind barriering radiolocation.

    Discusses the use of complicated UWB signals in supergrades and subsurface radiolocation. The aim of this work is to analyze the possibility of complex UWB signals using a simpler aproximarse signals, which greatly simplifies the task of finding the basic parameters of the echo signal. As a model of the complex signal of the selected signal with linear frequency modulation. Designed the error of approximation of ultra-wideband LFM echo signal of the echo signal with a rectangular spectrum with different environment settings and the coefficients of the high bandwidth. Based on these data it is concluded that at high modulation indices it is possible to replace the analytical calculations of complex expressions for the spectrum of the chirp signal by a simple ratio aproximarse spectrum.
