Incoming article date: 09.05.2021This work is devoted to the problem of carrying out construction and technical expertise of reconstructed public buildings. The main problems of modern reconstruction of urban development are considered. The differences between the reconstruction of public buildings and residential or industrial buildings have been revealed. The difficulties faced by the contractors during the reconstruction are estimated. The difficulties faced by the contractors during the reconstruction are estimated. The main points that experts turn to when examining a reconstructed object are noted. The disadvantages associated with the lack of a developed procedure for reconstruction and construction and technical expertise are considered. Conclusions based on the results of the study were made.
