Abstract
Models of the analysis of word formation in modern English
Incoming article date: 14.08.2020The goal of the paper is to consider the major ways of word formation in the modern English language and to analyse some of the word-building models, which have emerged relatively recently. As the material for the paper we have collected modern cognitive-semantic studies, Russian and foreign research works devoted to brand new words in English, lexical data from native speakers and the authors’ observation as well as the notes made during the visits of Great Britain in 2010-2020.
