The use of outrigger floors in high-rise construction
Incoming article date: 10.03.2022To date, the construction of high-rise buildings is the highest priority in construction. One of the problems in the construction of high-rise buildings is wind loads, which have a significant impact on horizontal movements. The article provides a calculation in the LIRA CAD software package of a high-rise building for wind loads in order to determine the optimal locations of outrigger floors and the type of outrigger floor. The system of outrigger floors serves to reduce the displacement of floors from the effects of wind loads.
