The authors, based on the study of the spatial experience of strategy development in the EU, scientific publications of Russian and foreign scientists devoted to spatial development, give advice on the drafting of the concept of spatial development of the Russian Federation, currently being developed in accordance with the Federal Law of 28 June 2014 number 172-FZ «On the strategic planning in the Russian Federation».
