Culture of safety using mobile phones
Incoming article date: 02.08.2016About 6 billion people use mobile phones in the world today. Unambiguous information about the potential dangers to human health from the use of a mobile phone is not present. The World Health Organization classifies radio emission from mobile phones as potential carcinogens. However, studies in recent years in most cases do not confirm this. Availability uncertain risks makes particularly urgent training of safety culture to use mobile devices. These security rules often referred to: the use of telephone for a short time, is strictly necessary; failure to use the phone in the area of bad reception; storage and charging the phone at a distance from the rest position (sleep); phone is not wearing on the body? but in the bag, and so on. 94 SFU students were interviewed to determine this aspect of safety culture. It turned out that only 30% of respondents characterized by a sufficient level of safety culture in the use of mobile phones. It determines the relevance of the formation of the culture of safety aspects in the teaching of discipline "Life Safety" at the university.
