Research of conditions and characteristics of operation of various types of landfills for disposal of solid waste production and consumption
Incoming article date: 27.08.2014In the work pointed out that currently the most common method for the disposal of solid waste production and consumption (JET) is to bury them in landfills. The authors have studied the requirements for the placement of landfills for disposal of municipal solid waste production and consumption and concluded that most of the already existing landfills POMB not in compliance with environmental regulations, and the construction of new landfills have not been fully taken into account environmental aspects and factors. We also study the features of the existing types of landfills for disposal of solid waste production and consumption. In conclusion, the authors concluded that the device ranges JET shall be in accordance with the established procedure for the design, operation and rehabilitation of landfills for municipal solid waste with the obligatory account climatic features of the area in question, geological and hydrological conditions of the terrain and conditions to ensure environmental safety.
