3D printing technology in construction and architecture
Incoming article date: 11.04.2019The article presents a study of modern achievements in the field of 3D printing of buildings and building components. The introduction describes a brief history of this technology. 3D printing technologies, in comparison with traditional building construction technologies, can be considered as an environmentally safe derivative, giving virtually unlimited possibilities for the implementation of geometrically complex projects. This article described two types of technology, and also noted that Contour Crafting is a promising technology that can revolutionize the construction industry in the near future. A brief description of several examples of innovative use of 3D printing in construction is presented. At the end, conclusions were made, tips and predictions were given on the use of 3D printing technology.
